Many folks from St. Jude went up to Chicago about a week ago to run in the Be The Match 5k race. They shared some great photos, including hanging out by the "bean."
Totus Tuus is a Latin phrase that means “totally yours,” a motto given to us by the Pope Saint John Paul II in describing his dedication to Jesus through Mary. For one week during the summer, we provide Catholic children in grades 1-12 a prayer-filled environment that will help them come closer to Christ through His Mother, Mary.
Consider participating with fellow St. Jude parishioners, who are racing for SJCS's own Marsha Krone, who is currently in need of a "match." Learn more and register online at www.bethematchfoundation.org. Meet up at Grant Park, Upper Hutchinson Field, or caravan from St. Jude at 5:45 a.m. the day of the race. Contact Joe Beaudry at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
As part of their 2nd year novitiate formation, the novices are with our Sisters for "Mission Life 101" for the next month. This wonderful experience for both the novices and our St. Jude family is a great gift from Mother Assumpta and the Community. The novices will live with the Sisters, continue their novitiate classes, and observe at SJCS and PND a few days each week for more classroom experience. We welcome them and pray for them as they prepare to make their First Vows this July. Thank you for coming, Sisters!
